    I have been
  • Nice. Has there been an updated list released lately?
  • That there hasn't been. I've actually just gotta get off my lazy ass, get the cable I need to hook my lappy hard drive to my desktop, and get the info I have stored on that drive into the file. I lost something like 20ish listings due to my lappy's graphics card frying. Hasn't been much added to the list since the last update, so I want to make it a major one when I post it again.
  • in the last three weeks i have opened a super metroid and a ledgend of zelda players choice for snes. both had all contents.. the metroid is sitting here now with cart, book, poster, nintendo power poster, and snes consumer info
  • Thread is generally for NES stuff, although I am recording SNES info in case someone wants to make a SNES list at some point. However, the info you provided doesn't exactly help. Take a look at some of the NES entries and you'll see why...I need the item numbers for everything included. For SNES I'd also want to keep track of what style of cardboard tray was used, as well as whether or not the game had a dust cover included (pretty sure they did away with them later in the SNES' lifespan, since some trays don't fit carts with dust covers). I can provide more details as to which codes I'm looking for on the miscellaneous inserts if you can't find them (they can vary, so I can look for examples of specific inserts), but the cart/box/manual should all have some variation of SNS-**-USA on them (SNS is the code for Super Nintendo games, the ** is the game code, and -USA refers to the region...it could be -CAN as well, or any number of other combinations for PAL carts...and don't be surprised if there is a number after the code...-1, -2, and any other number coming after denotes that the box/cart/manual has some modification somewhere in it...I would also need to know that number if applicable).
  • I purchased an auction of Sealed games, and Mission Impossible was opened at the top. Everything appears brand new and unused. I can say with 95% certainty that these items are included with Mission Impossible:

    Mission Impossible

    -Instruction Manual (NES-U4-USA)

    -Registration Card (ULT-NES-US-2)

    -Nintendo Power Card (PMG-USA)

    -Warning Projection TV Card (NES-RPTV-USA)

-ULTRA Poster - 10 Ways to Stay Zap Happy (ULT-NES-US-1)

It looks to be about what I'd expect.  If it was unsealed in a way that would make opening the box impossible, I can use it, but if the box could be opened, there's always the possibility that it was tainted.  Also, if it was still sealed in such a way, I would need to know which kind of dust sleeve it came with...based on the era I could reasonably list it as a flat black sleeve, but it's good to be 100% certain.

Yeah, no doubt.  You can discard my input on this one then, it was unsealed.

  • Hey weird coincidence! I just found Nightshade last night! Cart only, but hadn't heard of it prior.
  • It's a wicked game man. It's an adventure game with some action bits thrown in. Controls are a bit stiff, and some of the puzzles are tricky, but it's an awesome game regardless. Well, once you figure out how to get out of the first room anyway
  • Awesome I'm gonna have to try it, that sounds really fun!
  • opened a simcity!

Dude, I already posted on this same page that I need more info than that.  I need item codes man, ITEM CODES!!!  Look how Nistle posted his contents.  THAT is the info I need.  Knowing it came with a Nintendo Power ad doesn't help, because there are several different Nintendo Power ads.  And "white sheet of information" is absolutely worthless.  It should have an item code somewhere, and it'd help to know what KIND of information is on it.  This isn't data I can find out on my own, I'd have to open a copy myself to get it if you don't provide it, and if I could do that with every game, I wouldn't have started this thread to begin with.

EDIT: Of course by the same page, I meant the previous one.  Go figure that my post would end up starting a new page
  • oh sorry! i'll get codes and stuff for you, just let me crack er open for ya. and i did see nistle's i just was too lazy to recheck
  • Box: SNS-SC-USA-3

    cart: SNS-SC-USA-2

    manual: SNS-SC-USA-3

nintendo power subscription(has mario on a can in picture): GP-SNS-USA-3

Consumer information and precautions booklet: SNS-USA/CAN-3

There you go! seems like the only thing canadian about the candian version was the information booklet

there you go! its my first sealed opening as its the only sealed copy i ever wanted to keep! so i probably won't open many more but if i do i now know where everything is located! also i have a zoda's revenge and star tropics that i opened a long time ago if you want those codes? i can show you pictures, they don't even have a white line across the top fold. and the letter is still attached to the first star tropics!
  • That's not the -CAN version, it's the -USA version. The precautions booklet was used by all regions, instead of making separate ones for Canada. Also, the box code should follow the same format as the cart and manual. That code is off the back of the box, which is identical to the one on my -CAN Link's Awakening box. The one I'm looking for is on the tabs when you open the box. Sorry to sound like an anal retentive dick, I'm just an anal retentive dick Plus everything needs to be accurate when the list gets made, or it's kind of pointless to make the list in the first place

Final Fantasy has been opened, but not tracked. Long story short, the retard posted a picture and then threw a hissy fit when I asked for the codes on all the items, so it was impossible to add it. Anyway, it did not come with a sleeve. Think the Dragon Warrior I opened also didn't have a sleeve, but I'm not certain of that offhand and am too lazy to check the list. And Tom, I plan to note those when they come up (not sure if one has yet or not though). I make it as a note at the end of the entry.

Well, I just bought an extra DW1 to open, so I will verify that.  Too bad I can't afford a Final Fantasy.

Well, either way, I know Dragon Warrior had several print runs, so it's quite likely your sealed copy will still be a new addition to the list.  Most people still seem to think I'm only listing a game once, which just isn't the case.  Any time there is so much as a different Nintendo Power card in a game, it gets an extra listing
  • updated my post, you should be happy now! let me know about star tropics, im 99% sure everything is original inside!
  • As long as you can be 100% sure the contents are exactly what came with the game, I could accept them. That 1% of doubt that you have there has me worried though...if there's even a shred of doubt as to whether or not the contents have been mixed with something else in the past, I'll have to say I can't take the submission. The amount of time that passed between you opening it is irrelevant, as long as the contents are 100% certain to be the original contents.
  • Zoda's revenge

    Box: NES-6C-USA

    Cart: NES-6C-USA

    Manual: NES-6C-USA

    Consumer Information Booklet: NES-USA/CAN-2

    Classic Action Poster: GP-NES-USA-2

Zoda's is 100% for sure everything that was original as i didn't open it long ago. the start tropics looks fishy to me, and doesnt have a consumer information! may have been a reseal at the store forever ago, didn't really think about reseals back then so its your call on that one! i don't collect sealed, so if i get a sealed copy that isn't worth much that i want to keep i'll have more for you! I have a NFR final fantasy coming from nistle as well?

Hey im from edmonton =D were natural enemies!

Also, do you have quattro sports? or hollywood sqaures, i might consider opening them if i can't sell them

iv'e just removed the star tropics, im pretty sure it was a reseal from the store i bought it at. oh well! i'll see what lese i can gather up for you
  • Quattro Sports is actually the only Camerica game that hasn't been opened yet, and I don't think Hollywood Squares is on my list either, so open away if you want As for StarTropics, better safe than sorry, so it's probably best to not use it.

And we're not enemies. I'm originally from BC...I cheer for the Oilers whenever they play the Flames Hell, I cheer for ANY team over the Flames
