complete black box set

i was looking over the award list and for most awards there are both complete box and complete cart only . except for the black box set . i was wondering if there is or could be an award for black box series cart only?

    There is one, it's shown off in the directory and the FAQ. (Directory is up to date though, not FAQ.)

    ^That one is not cart only. There is not a cart only award, as the whole point of the black box set is the boxes.

    Would a cart only option be something that could be added to the award list similar to the way that the game series awards are not required to be complete

    I doubt it, as I say the boxes are really the point of the award.  



    With the series sets you need extras and they often span multiple systems, so they aren't really the same to me.



    You are just going to have to track down some boxes as manuals!

    Bit too easy to get all the black box carts to get an award, I would say.

    I mean it is the "Black BOX" award so maybe you should have the "Black BOXES".... just my opinion of course

    Sorry I misread. Yeah, a cart-only BBS would be way too easy.

    Thanks for the clarifacation guys, i am going to go ahead and pick up the cartridges anyway, i always loved the launch games. i remember playing them on an M8 demo display in JC pennys when i was in 5th grade. i just like the simplicity of the 8 bit arcade style games that are like a pick up and play.
