  • don't accept. open a case w/ ebay when you can saying you didn't get your item. It might end up a pain in the ass though as to where you'll simply get a refund, but not for a while. what was the item? I guess it all depends on what it was.
  • like 6 good gamecube games. $10 for them. Probably $50 worth. He had two lots. One GC and one Xbox.
  • Just get your money back and leave a neg.
  • Personally I haven't run across this situation but I might let the guy off the hook if I feel it was an honest mistake and feel like forgiving, or maybe would try to renegotiate a reasonable price, it's not a lot of money. At least he's not making up a story on how he lost the games or some bullshit like that, but if you decide to open a case it is within your rights and there's nothing wrong with that.
  • Don't cancel. Fill a claim, and leave neg.
  • Says it's too soon to file a claim? Do I have to wait for him to have time to 'ship' it, then file?
  • You have to wait until the estimated delivery date to file a claim.

Then the seller has 8 more days to respond.

Then ebay will look into the claim, and refund your money.
  • Your not getting the items unless they want to ship them to you. You can waste alot of time messing with the seller or just get your money back.
  • Just leave it would be my advice. All that time could be spend on something better. Unless he takes time to pay you back.
  • Is there such thing as an ebay claim?
  • Curious... what 5 games did you get for $10?
  • You aren't going to get the games. Just get the refund and move on. If he is extremely nice don't leave feedback. If he's a jerk leave negative fb. It's what I would do.

If the buyer agrees to cancel the transaction, they can't leave any feedback for the seller.

  • You might be able to cancel it as a returned item and still retain feedback privileges. That said, if it's too good to be true then it probably is. I don't blame you for jumping on it, but people make mistakes and he obviously did. I would not leave a neg - what you may want to do is leave neutral feedback. Neutrals aren't really neutral, it's a soft neg, and that's really what he deserves here. Negs are for the worst of the worst - people that treat you badly and screw you over. You got your money back, you weren't screwed. Let bygones be bygones.
  • Sure, people make mistakes, but they also should own up to them. Seller should have just cut his losses and sent the games. Not the other way around. Thats just my opinion.
  • ^ Agreed. He blatantly said "I sold them too cheap" then check your info before you click "List Item." That is garbage. Wait the time, file a dispute, leave a neg.
  • ...must know the games...
  • i agree negative feedback is in order. if it were a live auction they couldn't ask the auctioneer to give him his stuff back after going once , going twice , sold!!

Actually, both parties can leave feedback when a transaction is cancelled. The only time a buyer can't leave feedback is when an unpaid item dispute is opened against them.
  • I had a problem with someone. Then when the seller was aware of the problem, he sent me the second of a game I purchased 2 of. Mistakes can be very bad if looked upon. If you don't get the games by the end of the month, filing a complaint may be necessary.
