what is the maximum file size for an attachment?

if you try to upload something too big the alert says the limit is "10" which is not all that helpful.

  • Noone except Dain can answer, however I would recommend resizing it or breaking up what you are uploading if you receive that message.

As large attachment can slow down the server and cause performances issues.
  • Sign up for a free account at Dropbox.com.

Then you can upload whatever it is in your public folder.

Once you do you can get a link to that file.

If you want, PM me your email address and I'll send you an invite that will net you a free 250mb extra.

Thats funny, when I slow down to use my "large attachment" I never have any performance issues
  • The limit is 10 MB -- what are you trying to upload? If it's an image, definitely resize it (or change your camera settings to not use 1 gazillion mega-unused-pixels).

Hey, sometimes those gazillion mega-unused pixels are fantastic for taking large photo's of poop
