Is Bomberman II really worth this much?

I'm glad both of those games aren't on my "to get" list. Bomberman 1 is, but that isn't as ridiculous in price.
Heh. I've seen that a lot with Bomberman 2 and Bubble Bobble 2.

I'm not saying it should be $225 for a complete, but personally I always thought bomberman 2 should be priced higher than it was anyway.. its a pretty rare instalment in a classic franchise... nuff said. In other words, is it too expensive at $225 or too cheap at the $40(?) it used to go for? (somewhere in between I'd say).
Same should go for romance 2 IMO and maybe nobunagas 2 as well. Perhaps not 'classic' but certainly long running franchises, with those two titles being very difficult to get.
There's that, and also it's just a really fun game.
True enough, but its not like its any more fun than it was six months ago, you know?

When I was collecting my Koei subset, the toughest game to find was, in fact, Nobunaga II. Got screwed on a CIB (avoid link4nes, fuckin' scammer), but did get a boxed one. Lucked out and got a manual and a better condition cart in the wild, but I've been trying to get the map since I got screwed over and I've had no luck. It's also consistantly on peoples' final 100 list, but yet rarely tops $50 at auction. IMO, Romance II is priced properly at the $40-$50 range. It's rare, but it's much easier to find than Nobunaga II. It also has lower demand associated with it because Ro3K2 was released on the SNES and Genesis as well, so people looking to play the games in the franchise would opt to play the 16 bit versions (although the NES version is actually better IMO). I would say Bandit Kings of Ancient China should be the one fetching more money than it usually does, not Ro3K2.
I agree, Nobunaga's II is a tough one, I've only had 2 CIB copies in all my collecting time.
Dan, I have paid for the "item"!
Thanks.
agree, I think all three of those - nobunagas 2, romance 2, bandit kings are difficult. Two of those were some of the last games I found sealed. I don't think I've ever seen a sealed nobunaga 2 on ebay ever.
I actually saw one when I was looking for a CIB, but I didn't want to pay $200 for it. It was in an eBay store. Someone must've wanted one that bad though.
Good point, Bandit Kings of Ancient China is very tough to get nice CIB copy of. Only had one or two of those as well.

If you still have spare CIB Nobunaga 2 or Bandit Kings, let me know. My boxes are both in very rough shape, and both need maps still.
