How to Open andClean Mako Pad N64 Controller

i bought a mako pad n64 controller for $2 but its sticky and i think it needs some major cleaning



Is there a video how to open and clean this controller? i checked youtube but i only see the regular n64 controller. i think  the insides maybe different

    Just open it and use rubbing alcohol and a cloth/q-tips.  Clean the buttons, rubber contacts, and possibly use toothpicks for the crevices.  Or you can put the plastic shell and the buttons in soap and water.
