Anyone sell plastic sleeves for CIBs NES or SNES games?

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew a place to buy those plastic sleeves NES games originally came with inside the box that slid over the game and black NES slipcase? They can't be too difficult to recreate, and it makes CIB games look so much more official when you pull the lid up and see the plastic holding everything in. Also, SNES ones are cool too, cause it holds the cart so much tighter inside the white box, so if anyone knows a place to buy them or has them for sale, I'd love to buy a large group of them. Any info would help. Thanks!

  • You mean the plastic baggies? Yeah every CIB collector wants them but no one ever sells them. I got around $1.50 each for a quantity of 50 to 100 when I sold off a large number of CIBs back in 2009. Demand is there!
  • I'm sure you can find some here. Head over to the Buy/Sale/Trade thread and post an ad: "WTB: NES game sleeves / SNES Dust protectors"

    Good luck!
  • Yeah, it's crazy. A bunch of people can figure out how to manufacture those nice plastic cases for our CIB's and sealed games, yet the simple little plastic baggies inside, no one can recreate. Go figure. I'd imagine there'd be a huge market for those little guys...
  • Does anybody know the dimensions of those plastic baggies nes and snes?? I may have a clue where maybe they make some?? Anyways let me know!!
  • originals or bust!

I always buy these whenever i can cause no one seemed to have kept them back in the day.
  • I have a decent amount of original SNES baggies for my games, but I've been looking for more. I bought some I thought would work a while back, but then the opening ended up being on the long end and I couldn't use them at all. That was a waste of money (make sure you don't do that).
  • lol..any measurments on these baggies?? Like i said i may have a place where they make them?? I would check them but i dont got any lol
  • I had similar complaints, but in my case I'm looking for sleeves to protect smaller game carts (Famicom). My solution was those tiny baggies you find in convenience/grocery stores to hold candy for purchase. I know it's probably not the same thickness of plastic, but it works well for me.
