SNES auctions- Adol and Pooch will battle it out for those. Whomever Adol buys the games for seems to have an endless supply of cash so expect Adol to go HIGH on those SNES lots. Pooch might win one of those.

I made the $20,000 offer and it is not some lowball offer trying to get some person ripped off. It is a respectable lump sum offer. Personally, I would turn it down as well given the circumstances and I did not expect it to be accepted (in fact, when I made it, I did not think these would be sold). I made the offer just to make sure, more or less, they did not end any of the auctions for ANYTHING less than that.

i sold off about half my games, all the stuff i didnt want. The two of them bought 95% of what i sold and did so in direct competition for the last 60 or so. I know for a fact they will go high as hell.
My games were gem mint. i assume these are similar if not the same condition. I dont know for sure and no one will until they get there hands on them.
the only thing that may keep people like pooch and adol from dropping extreme money would be the fact that you have to buy so many for so much money without being able to buy 1 or 2 to get an idea of condition.
I know they look really mint, but as we all know, if you hold in your own hands you know for sure.
If the Nintendo employee responds and will allow me too, I could go by there on my lunch break to view for anyone who is actually going to take a serious run at these. But i am pretty much 100% sure that even though i am just down the road and harmless they would not let me in there.

I've made this suggestion via email already, but let me add one thing to the discussion here: at this point, these auctions are beyond regular video game auctions, they are an opportunity to promote nintendo, united way, NOCL's generous donation, and our little hobby. I think this would make a great story for the local/national papers especially given the size of the donation involved. NOCL, I would encourage you to contact a reporter or two - I think a lot of people would find this interesting in the paper and it could end up being one of those stories that generates a lot of buzz.
i agree with bronty on this. NOCL, you should contact some reporters about this, as you are going to raise a very large sum of money to donate to charity. in the process, you would promote nintendo of canada, and maybe you could give a little shout out to NA (maybe even mention the Expo coming up).
NGD, just imagine if this dude showed up to the expo with these games instead of putting them on ebay... that would've been amazing. (just seeing them on ebay is amazing... bringing them to the expo when no one expected it would have just been more than amazing)!
If they went to the expo this is what would happen:
everyone would have to leave the expo to run to the bank to withdraw /borrow /re-mortgage to bid against eachother on the exhibition floor and fight and eventually start an all out brawl in which NGD would eventually squash everyone and give the games to Wizz who would then record himself opening them all with a sign in the recording saying 'Fuck you, I am opening them' then post it on youtube so everyone can cry themselves to sleep.
now if that were truly the case, i may be able to make it to the expo! maybe jason and aaron could be signed to a wwe contract after they crush everyone at the expo. tagteam name: "national arseface depot"... has a nice ring to it!

Even if you are not into sealed games you have to admit, this is pretty amazing. Got a quick update before I head home: I've added detailed lists to lots 1 through 17 and the remainder will be added this weekend.
I've taken additional photos which could not be loaded added through ebay due to a technical glitch associated with auctions which already have had bids. I will put these on flikr or somewhere of the like and link each auction to them.
Sure. If I can give you one additional thought - handle the games carefully. Collectors are unbelievably picky about damage (think 40 year old virgin, LOL). THE STRUCTURAL INTEGRITY OF THE PACKAGING MUST NOT BE COMPRISED!! ehehehehehehe
Seriously, improper handling could adversely affect value / cause problems.
Please go through each title individually and note absolutely ANY damage. Corners or any other flaws such as indents and any tears. No matter how small the damage may appear, please note it.
