Updated with pics! Identify my version of Pokemon Ruby!

I have a Pokemon Ruby for GBA cart, it is black, and it says Version 3 on it. I have done some research online and have found nothing. Can someone help me. I purchased this from a garage sale.

Thanks guy and girls!

  • it's the pirate version!! yay! wait, I don't think that's a good thing.

it is a pirate the seal is too round (and probably not metallic) and the code on this is for Dragon Ball Z Buu's Fury

  • Open it up and take pics of the board to tell for sure, but since there was no "Ruby 3" released, I kinda doubt it's a non-pirate cart.
  • Haha how did this make it to a garage sale in a very small city. Very weird. Thanks guys.
  • I also came here to say it's a pirate. Hope you didn't pay too much for it

People that have no idea what they're doing buy them off of eBay and resell them haha. I've never seen one that's that blatant about being a pirate though. Quite interesting. Does it work?

No idea, I am up at school right now, it's at home. My GF picked it up with a bunch of other games at a local garage sale in her area. it was 3 dollars for the whole bag, but this and Super mario advanced were the only good ones.

  • actually check the Mario advanced also because that's another fairly heavily pirated title

go into a gamestop that still sells GBA games.. you'll probably find a pirate or 2 they're just that common. (and any ebay listing from china with a stock photo is almost guaranteed to be)
