I was wondering if it is possible to receive some kind of notification when somone posts something on a thread you have created or a thread you have commented in?
I subscribe to the VGA thread but only get some messages emailed to me. When posting is light, I get them all, but if there are a lot, I'll get only a few. Seems like it only checks for updates so often.
It does seem hit or miss. Like it says, you need to read the thread before you will get new updates, so I wonder if the problem lies somewhere in that system.
Yeah, a setting to automatically notify you of posts in your own threads/threads you've posted in would be great. The new messages feature likes to mess up now and then for me, meaning it doesn't actually show me that people have posted after me unless I keep a close eye.
I agree. It would be nice to have a notification much like the inbox notification when you receive a new post, or a new post has been posted in a thread you posted in...I used to word post a lot in that sentence.
