Mega flea market/craigslist weekend!!!
It's been a hell of a weekend here in central Ohio! First off, I do my regular scouring of the Craigslist postings. Generally, nothing ends up panning out from CL. Maybe 2-3 times a year I'll get lucky, but thats about it. Yesterday I just happen to open a posting titled, "Super NES $40'. I open that to see and SNES mini and 8 games. Those games just happen to be Mario RPG, Harvest Moon, Secret of Mana, Brain Lord, Super Mario, Mario all stars, link to the past, and Kirby Dream Course. I start getting hopeful because it had only be a couple hours since posting. I sent them an immidiate email for my offer. An hour goes by and still nothing. I decided to ahead and send them a $70 offer because $40 is a literal steal and every person on CL would send an email about it. Of course I got a call a few minutes after my 70 offer!! We set up a meeting. I was just hoping the whole time they wouldn't go check ebay for the titles they had listed. The time finally comes to meet, I was about 45 minutes away so I'm just hoping so dbag doesn't tell her that's a low price to get the games for themselves. They luckily did show up though. There were other offers coming in like I suspected. The seller was even nice enough to give me the name and # of the person trying to outbid me!! Next time bid more than 5 above my price!!
The Earthbound seen in the first photos was a lucky trade in here at my store. My boss was generous enough to sell me that for $60. I'm considering that a score.
The bottom NES games were picked up at the flea market I go to every month. I've been going there for over a year and this is the first big NES score I've got there. Nothing to major in the lot. Notable games, Mega Man, Metroid, Ren & stimpy.
