Nintendo Retail Representatives
Well here it is.
I'm sure some of you are cringing, but it's going to happen eventually.
I want to find out and get in touch with my local Nintendo Retail Representative for obvious reasons.
I've spoken with some retailers in the area, informed them I would like to get in touch with them, and left my contact information, even offering them money for their contact information.
How have you guys found success in finding them in a store while doing what they do?
How in the world can I get in touch with them?
You'd think that after some bloke walked into a store and left their contact information and stated they'd match a weeks' pay for the rep, they'd want to give that kind of information to the individual.
What should I post in a craigslist ad in order to get in touch with one of these reps?
Is anyone here one of the reps?
After thinking about it more and more, I don't really see the big deal in trying to keep these sources secret, after all, the more of their treasure that can get on the market the better. If I'm willing to match, double, triple, their current contacts...good for the rep.

I'll be heading out to a few retail locations tomorrow.
Seemed to be a popular thread...wonder if anyone is worried I'm going to snatch their contact?
Been at it for over a month...not giving up.

To leach off of and get promo stuff lol. That would be the only reason I'd be interested in talking to them.
I see. I'm still ignorant to some of the ways of the hobby, so bear with me haha.

Why ask for advice if you arn't interested in getting it. You cannot buy items directly from a Nintendo Retail Represenative like you are trying
Ive chatted with the local nintendo rep
I inquired about the skyward sword demo disc. Those puppies are inventoried, by corporate, not the rep themselves.. If they don't all make it back to base. They figure out which one, "Item 121 went to gamestop" punish the rep, and in turn punish the store itself.
Good luck getting ANYTHING off a rep that's not a promo item like a small display.

I never asked how to buy items directly from them.
I asked for ideas in how to get in touch with them.
Fodder, get in tight with your local gamestop's workers.
I have a promo Sweet Tooth Car display, Mass Effect 3 Pennants, Uncharted 3 displays (sold), Assasins Creed 3 promo flyer, THE ENTIRE SKYRIM PROMOTIONAL, RETAILERS KIT. From ONE group of employees & mgmt at gamestop
You do FAR better with the average joes who understand your passion that a licensed rep

Then why post something like this? You are obviously intending to buy something from them, which is the only logical reason that anyone would want to get in contact with them. Anyway I am done, goodluck

Okay...
I'm sorry Mommy..I don't mean to wet the bed
I doubt any rep would risk losing there job to help you, they're not allowed to sell the products and everything has serial numbers and is kept track of. Your best bet is getting in good with a retailer and asking if they can order an extra standee or whatever your after along with there own order.
I, have an,Aussie echo?
I kid, I kid

That was going to be my contribution to this thread, as well...
I seriously doubt there is much of anything worthwhile that a Nintendo rep could do for you that wouldn't compromise their job security.
Get in good with a manager at Toys 'R Us if you are after promotional items. Gamestop employees/managers usually keep all of the stuff given to them. Also keep in mind that their district managers contact the managers at those retail stores, and the retail managers have no problems reporting anything suspicious that goes on.
Do yourself and the rep a favor and stay away.
