WTB: 50-100 New Pin Connectors

I need at least 50 new pin connectors.  Do any of you have a good source??

  • I think Pedro knows the source. I would recommend contacting him, and seeing if he can help you out.
  • I don't know how cheap Pedro can get them for but I used to order them from Yobo gameware. It has been almost three years since I ordered these so I'm not really sure if they still have them or not.
  • I know you can get them here as well.

50+ connectors are wholesaled at $7.29 and it's cheaper if you get more.
    It goes like this.. 100+ @ $6.99 / 250+ @ $6.49 / 500+ @ $5.99
Don't know if this is a good deal or not as I've been also looking for a lead on pin connectors.
  • Don't buy them from the nintendorepairshop. I bought a bunch from them when I first started and most of them were defective. Get an account with Yobo, and get them there.
  • Thanks for the heads up.
  • I refurbished tons of consoles and could clean them all and they working pretty good so I don't undesrtand why people buying new ons to replace them!?

I took a fine sandpaper folded it and cuted them a bit smaler than the card wide and cleand them - after that the games startin from the first try...
  • I know how to clean the pins, but dont they need to be bent first? How do you bend the pins back to where they are supposed to be?

this is a very good question.  anyone mind if i do an article on bending the pins back for the next ezine?  i'll take nice pictures and everything.

but anyway, it is pretty simple.  you take a small screw drive... and bend the pins up... the pins where the cart fits in so the cart fits sung.  also, make sure your carts are clean before playing them.  if that doesn't work you can also use bulb grease which works wonders for connectivity .

  • I´ve bended my slot pins once. My NES grip started to look like a shark bite. I could lift the console in the air just by holding the cartridge inside...
