Playchoice 10 games repair

I have a few Playchoice 10 games that do not work.

In one, the choice screen show the game in the slot that is available.

When selected it starts, you can hear the music and actually play but the screen is scrambled.

A few others work on the selction screen but do not even show the game when selected.  Just a black screen.



Not sure if the boards are corrupted or even dead but thought I would try to get them repaired.  I might ask the KLOV site but thought I would start here first.

    I would clean and reseat all of your connections just like an NES cart. It could just be dirty connections, a connection not making contact, or perhaps you just need some ROMS reburned. Pictures would be uber helpful.

    Yeah, what they said. Reset/clean the ROM's sockets, reburn them if that doesn't work. Not much else you can do besides that.

    I tried cleaning some of the connectors with no luck. Took out some of the chips and brushes upped the connectors again with no luck.



    I did find some info on the PAR site. Chips can be repaired for a fair price. I think I am going this route.

    I'd see if the nolans would re burn them first, they usually handle lots of chips and stuff and are usually more than happy to just help others. But yeah, good luck, hope it fixes it.
