For me, MM2 was the best BECAUSE of how easy it was. I need all the help I can get lol. I will agree with Doug, in that 4-6 I dont care for either. Even though I have played games all of my life, they haven't become easier for me
It's the easiest Mega Man game even on "Difficult". The Japanese version doesn't even have the "Normal" setting, only the Difficult, which is not really difficult either.
MM 2 is one of my favorite Mega Man game (my favorite is Mega Man 1). It's the Mega Man game with the best music. Also, the robot masters are really nice looking, much better than those in for example Mega Man 5 and Mega Man 6.

MM2 is. definitely easy. It's my favorite because it's the first one I played and I know it so well. Another one that I thought was going to be more difficult than it was, was MM9 mainly because I heard how very difficult is was from everyone at the time. Kids these days. I forget not everyone grew up with an NES.

I did only use the buster.That's what blew my mind. Except against the alien-Wily-illusion-thing. Then I used the lead bubble.
I guess they should have called "Normal" for "Easy" and "Difficult" for "Normal". That would have been more appropriate as the Japanese version only has the Difficult level. Mega Man 2 is the only game in the Mega Man series released to NES that has two difficulty levels.
