Super Metroid is a must-have SNES game. That system is the king of RPG's, too.
King of nintendo rpgs, sure. PS1 is the actual King of RPGs, for sure.
Hell yeah!
As for the snes, Sky Blazer is one of the best action platformers and it rarely gets the attention it deserves. It's also way cheap to pick up.
My favorite aspect of the snes library is the beat em ups, all of them are pretty solid. You really can't go wrong with some Ninja Warriors in your life.
I agree with Zelda: LttP, if you only have enough cash for one game. That game remains my all-time favorite on the console; I make it a habit of beating it at least once a year.
If you are into nostalgia-inducing Disney games, I recommend Aladdin and The Lion King - while not must buys, they are, in my opinion, solid platform games that provide a good time.
