Chat error

I can't log into chat because the orintation of the screen is just too far to the right and I can't click "guest".

I've even cleared up my temp files and even tried to stretch the screen onto a secondary monitor and I still can't sign in as guest. There is no way to scroll horizontally either.

I'm guessing it's a Tinychat problem, but is anyone having this problem lately?

  • Thanks for the response, but still no go.

It works fine in IE, but not Firefox... =\
  • Tinychat uses adobe flash. Try closing what ever adobe program that is running in the background there. Still won't work, restart PC, and try again.
  • Update your flash plugin. I had to do that to get tinychat to stop fucking with my music players and saying my mp3's are invalid.

lmao never herd of that problem, what a wonderful program!
  • It was so ridiculous. I'd go into chat, Media Player would stop playing. I'd switch back, press play, it'd cycle through all my mp3's, give them a red X next to 95% of them. Then, after one would play, it would mark it with a red X again, and unmark some others, all randomly. After a flash update from the site, it hasn't happened since. This is probably the reason why Adobe is going to stop supporting Flash this year (not this specific reason, but just the fact that it's such a security risk in general these days).

Wait guys, I think I got it...

Adam, when I use the link gateway that you set up for the chats http://chat.airwalkstudios.com/ , they're messed up. If I go straight to Tinychat's url without using your gateway, it works fine.

    Example:

    http://chat.airwalkstudios.com/nintendorules.php    -   error

    http://tinychat.com/nintendorules  -  works fine

  • Yeah, I'm not sure wtf is up with that. I redid the embed code and it's still messed up. Gotta be something with TinyChat.
  • Your inline element text-align is set to center. Switch it to left and that should fix it.
  • Unfortunately, from what it looks like, it's still a TinyChat issue.

Your workaround in Firefox using the Inspect feature in the web developers section did work well though. If you delete the img value for the adobe link, set it to left, and increase the height of the chat div from 720 to 800px, you'll get most of everything that you need.
  • TinyChat fixed the issue. This can be locked now I would imagine.

Yeah thanks man, it works great now. Perfect sreensize and everything.... even better than the regular address. Sucks that there's a redirect issue with TinyChat, but for now, it's working pretty good in both FF and IE now.

  • Bounce, the issue has been resolved on TinyChat's side
  • Cool, thanks Adam. I see that you removed RetroNintendoAge from the list. Was nobody going to that chat or something? Makes since, since there is already NintenodRules chat.
  • Tanooki closed it, so there's no point in keeping it there.
