Question about power adapter for Sharp Twin Famicom

I've got 2 Sharp Twin Famicoms. One of them came with the power adpater. Can I just plug this thing right into the wall here in the U.S.? Is there any power issues I should worry about?



Also, since I have 2 of these but only 1 power adapter I'll need to acquire a 2nd power adapter.  The back of the Twin Famicom says DC7.6V below where the power adapter plugs in.  It also has a symbol above the power adapter that looks like - C +(it looks a little different than that, but that's as close as t I could get with keyboard characters).  I think the - C + thing is the polarity for the adapter but I'm not sure. If I find an adpater that fits the plug hole and is outputting DC7.6V will that work without any issues or damaging the console?

    7.6 volt center positive.. should be easy enough to find an adapter the right size and voltage though japan and US use similar enough power that you can just plug the japanese adapter into the wall and it will work. (I think US uses an extra 10V but most adapters can handle that because AC power can fluctuate a bit anyways.)

    I have a couple of Famicoms and have no problems using them/their adapters here. Some folks recommend a step down converter, but that is overkill. Here is a great thread from Famicom World on the power adapter saga.

    I have had no trouble in running US items in Japan, and Japanese items in the US. It's 115 US to 100 JP, so meh. Most devices will take a range of input.
