    Meowth was, and still is, one of my favorites. Mostly because it's based on a maneki neko, which itself is based on a Japanese bobtail. A friend of the family used to breed them for a living, but I never had one myself. Very friendly breed of cat.

    Yeah, I am with Scotty. The only monster from my childhood was a Zugly. Yeah, you young punks soak that up and try to digest that. WTF is a Zugly??? The kids of the world today may never know...

    I can't say I really watched the cartoon all that much, but I did have one the plush dolls. Too bad it was made of crapy materials, the thing grew mold a few years later and had to be thrun out.
